Brahmastra takes 5 years to announce wrap

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have finally wrapped up shoot for their first film together, Brahmastra, which is one of the much hyped movie of the film Industry. The movie also has King Nagarjuna and Amitabh Bachchan in the crucial roles.  Alia and director Ayan Mukerji have announced the film wrap by sharing the pics that were clicked in Varanasi.

Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji shared a picture with Brahmastra actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt from their visit to Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi on completing the film. Ayan has also shared a photograph  that features the love birds Alia and Ranbir posing on a boat with several others.

The director Ayan Mukerji said, “5 years since we took our first shot on  the fantasy drama Brahmāstra, and we have  finally filmed our last one! Absolutely incredible, challenging, once in a lifetime journey!!! Some hand of destiny that we finished the shoot of ‘Part One: Shiva’ in Varanasi , the  city infused with the spirit of Shiv Bhagwan, and that too at the most sacred Kashi Vishwanath Mandir, allowing us to finish in  the  atmosphere of purity, joy and  the blessings.” The first part of Brahmastra will be released on 9th September.

Alia Bhatt was last seen playing the female lead in Rajamouli’ RRR which is running successfully at the box office.
